Positioned across from Melanie on either side of the bridge door, I check my biomass detector and it still shows only one biomass on board the entire ship besides from us.  And I'm about to take it down.  The next minute feels like hours and it starts with the bridge door finally sliding open after Melanie rubs her breast with the insignia against the insensitive control panel several times.

We should have gone in there weapons blazing instead of ducking for cover.  Two blondes in the same uniform as the other hostile are all over each other in the pilot's chair.  It took them a second to react to Melanie and I rush onto the bridge and ducking for cover on either side of the room behind some control consoles standing between us and them.  

The blonde on top launches herself towards my side of the room, pulling out her polymer combat knife.  The other blonde whips out Heidi's plasma pistol and hurls herself towards Melanie's side of the room, rolling onto the ground in a firing position aimed at Melanie which slickly also provides her cover from my angle of fire.

It will take a little longer before the knife-wielding blonde reaches me.  Although my plasma pistol is out and ready to take her down, I pass on that opportunity and spend precious time looking for an angle to hit Melanie's opponent to no avail.  Judging from my point of view, Melanie is completely exposed to the pistol-wielding blonde's fire.  I hope Melanie knows what she is doing.

The pistol-wielder fires two shots.  Melanie's lithe body is crouched with her side open to her opponent.  A catlike leap plus twists and stretches propel Melanie into midair above her opponent, completely avoiding the shots which harmlessly fly through the space where she was.  As Melanie aims her pistol at the blonde, the blonde's booted foot shoots from the ground and knocks the pistol out of Melanie's hand.  The kick also spins the blonde around one eighty degrees on the ground to be facing the same direction as Melanie.

By this time the knife wielding blonde has me in range and slashes with her polymer combat knife.  I block with my armored forearm without dropping the pistol and throw a left hook at her which goes wild.  She ducks and thrusts, the blade connecting with a loud click against my body armor.  I drop the pistol and grabs each of her wrists with each hand.  I swing on my hips and fling her over my head.  Her torso crashes squarely into a control console and her legs flail in agony.

I continue to hold down her knife hand with one hand, with the other I punch the top of her head into her neck.  Crack.  Crack.  Crack.  Almost in unison.  She instantly drops the knife and goes limp, her eyelids flutter over the whites of her eyes.  Her head hangs more loosely than it should, or maybe it should since I just broke several of her top spinal disks and gave her a concussion to boot.  Instinctively I realize I have a split second to notice this blonde's curves in all the right places, her lightly tanned silky skin, and her pretty angular features accented by her wild hair.

Melanie and the other blonde are tangled into a rolling ball on the ground, all hands struggling to aim Heidi's pistol shuddering strenuously between the two.  I can tell the two apart by the color of their hair and the color of their flesh, Melanie's tanned skin, the blonde's fair skin.  The blonde is smaller than Melanie but equally athletic, her muscles appearing more rounded on her slighter frame.  She has somewhat girlish features and big green eyes burning with bloodlust.  Melanie's expression is just as vicious and suddenly she head butts the blonde in the face.  The blonde's bobcut head jerks backwards and Melanie seizes the moment to point the pistol at the blonde's belly and blasts her with multiple plasma shots.  

A plasma shot is meant to overwhelm a living target's neural system, sometimes it kills the target cleanly, sometimes it leaves some voluntary bodily functions in place while the target is practically dead.  It seems the latter happened to the bobcut blonde.  She laid on top of Melanie, sweaty and breathing as if they just had sex, her limbs still tangled with Melanie's.  Melanie roughly extracted herself from the blonde, and flopped the body away from her.  The blonde's chest still gently rises and falls, a peaceful expression now on her face.
